#1 Recognize the difference between an annoying habit and a deal-breaker. An annoying habit is your boyfriend constantly scratching himself down below. Or a girlfriend who sucks at parking. Is that really worth ending a relationship over?--Now, if someone is always being rude to you or other people, or puts you down all the time. . . THAT'S a deal-breaker.
#2 Focus on yourself for a bit. One of the easiest ways to clear your head when it comes to relationships is to shift your focus, and work on your own life a little bit.--Maybe you stopped goingto the gym once you got comfortable around each other . . . or stopped hanging out with your friends. Whatever it is, start doing things that make you happy . . . and work from there.
#3 Imagine a life without them. What would your life look like if you were no longer together? Really think this one through . . . because once you tell them you want to end things, it's tough to go back.
