Centerton’s Christmas Parade
Centerton’s Christmas Parade rolls out Friday, December 12th at 6 p.m., starting by Harps and heading into downtown. Expect lighted floats, school bands, and Santa finishing the route. Festival of Stars Toy & Donation Drive
Help brighten a child’s holiday at the Festival of Stars Toy & Donation Drive on Friday, December 12th, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. at Arkansas Children’s Northwest in Springdale. Just pull up curbside with new, unwrapped toys or wishlist items–volunteers will collect them and provide a receipt.
Gentry’s Christmas Parade
Gentry’s Christmas Parade rolls down Main Street on Saturday, December 13th at about 6:30 p.m. It’s a classic small-town night parade with lighted floats, tractors, school groups, and Santa and Mrs. Claus. Families usually grab free Santa photos at the library before the parade, then line Main for candy and hot chocolate as the floats head toward City Park.
NWA Corgi Crew
The NWA Corgi crew is joining the Downtown Bentonville Christmas Parade again, and anyone with a corgi or a corgi “wannabe” can walk with them. Meet at Bentonville Fire Station 1 on Saturday, December 13th between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m., and the parade rolls at 6:00. Dress up your pup, expect less than a mile of walking, and plan to park in the designated areas.

Lincoln’s “Christmas on the Square”
Lincoln’s “Christmas on the Square” is Saturday, December 13th on Lincoln Square. It’s free and family-friendly, with free chicken, kettle corn, pony rides, and Santa fun.
The Rogers Historical Museum’s Holiday Open House: “A Rogers Christmas” is Saturday, December 13th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tour the 1895 Hawkins House decked out in turn-of-the-century Christmas décor, enjoy crafts, cookies, and a letter-to-Santa station, and stick around for Santa’s reading of “’Twas the Night Before Christmas” and a sing-along at 1 p.m.—all free and family-friendly.
Storybook Christmas
Downtown Gravette lights up for a “Storybook Christmas” on Saturday, December 13th! The parade starts at 6 p.m. on Main Street and flows into Hometown Christmas at Kindley Park with food, music, vendors, a chili cookoff, and the tree lighting. Free and family-friendly fun all evening.
Fayetteville Christmas Bird Count
The Fayetteville Christmas Bird Count is Sunday, December 14th–an all-day volunteer bird survey run by the NWA Audubon Society. You’ll be paired with an experienced team to help count every bird in a 15-mile circle around Fayetteville. It’s free, beginner-friendly, and you just sign up by emailing the coordinator to get your team and instructions.
Whobilation Christmas Parade
Get ready for some Grinchy fun at Elm Springs’ Whobilation Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 14th at 6 p.m.! Enjoy a Who-themed parade, music, food, and a costume contest downtown near City Hall. It’s free, festive, and fun for the whole family.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Fayetteville Public Library is showing The Nightmare Before Christmas for free on Monday, December 15th. Doors open at 2, the movie starts at 2:30 in the Walker Community Room, and seating is first-come, first-served. It’s a fun, slightly spooky holiday pick for families, teens, and adults.
Gingerbread-House Workshop
Rogers Public Library is hosting a free gingerbread-house workshop just for teens on Tuesday, December 16th. All the supplies are provided–house base, frosting, and candy–and you just register ahead on the library’s Teen Scene calendar before spots fill. It’s a fun, low-key way to hang out and get creative.
