Pawpalooza is happening Friday, May 15th through Sunday, May 17th from 11:00 to 5:00 each day at the Walmart Supercenter on Pleasant Crossing Boulevard in Rogers. You can check out pet food and treat options, make a custom pet bandana, learn more about pet health and wellness, and meet adoptable pets from Best Friends and local shelters.
Fayetteville Strawberry Festival
The Fayetteville Strawberry Festival is happening Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th on the Downtown Square. Saturday night starts with the Strawberry Street Dance from 6:00 to 10:00, then the main festival is Sunday from 12:00 to 6:00 with live music, family activities, a Makers Market, strawberries, desserts, and even a dog parade. It’s free and open to the public.
Arkansas Air and Military Museum
If you’ve never been to the Arkansas Air and Military Museum, Free Museum Day is happening Saturday, May 23rd from 9:00 to 4:30. It’s a chance to walk through and check out historic aircraft, military vehicles, and aviation exhibits without paying admission. So if you want something different to do in Fayetteville, this would be a good one.
Bentonville Square Dog Days
Dog Days is happening Saturday, May 23rd from 7:30 to 1:00 on the Bentonville Square. It’s a free, dog-friendly morning during the Bentonville Farmers Market, with pet vendors, activities, contests, photo ops, and more. So if you want a fun reason to bring your pup downtown, this is a good one.
NWA Youth Artist Showcase
The NWA Youth Artist Showcase is happening Saturday, May 23rd from 7:00 to 10:00 at Butterfield Stage in Rogers. It’s a free night spotlighting young musicians and student bands from around Northwest Arkansas, so it’s a great chance to get out and support some local artists.
Bentonville Kids Rave
The Bentonville Kids Rave is happening Wednesday, May 27th from 5:00 to 8:00 at Lawrence Plaza. It’s basically a dance party and splash pad combo, so the kids can run around, cool off, and have a blast with music going all evening.
Fayetteville Public Library Bad Art Night
Bad Art Night is happening Wednesday, May 27th from 5:30 to 7:30 at Fayetteville Public Library. The whole idea is to make intentionally bad art and just have fun with it, so there’s really no pressure. This round is built around recreating famous works of art badly on purpose.
Siloam Springs Public Library American Red Cross Blood Drive
The American Red Cross Blood Drive is happening Friday, May 29th from 10:00 to 3:00 at the Siloam Springs Public Library. It’s a simple way to help patients who need it, and if you can, it’s a good idea to set an appointment ahead of time.
Lake Wedington
If you’ve been missing Lake Wedington, here’s a good excuse to head back. Free Lake Day is happening Saturday, May 30th from 10:00 to 7:00 at Lake Wedington Recreation Area. It’s a free reopening celebration, so you can get out and enjoy the lake, the picnic areas, the trails, and just spend the day outside.
House Party at The MO
House Party at The MO is happening Sunday, May 31st from 10:00 to 9:00 at The Momentary in Bentonville. It’s a free all-day event with live music, art, games, food trucks, family activities, and new exhibitions to explore, so you can drop in whenever and just enjoy it at your own pace.
Botanical Garden of the Ozarks
Terrific Tuesday Nights start June 2nd at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks. This first one is all about Garden Games, so it’s a chance to get out, enjoy the garden after hours, and just spend some time walking around, playing, and relaxing together.

Movie Nights on the Square is back Thursday, June 11th in Downtown Bentonville with Zootopia 2. Things get going at 5:30, with the screen coming on at 6:00, so bring a lawn chair or a blanket and settle in for a movie night on the Square.
Peel Museum Prelude to the 250th
